How To Install google-crosextra-carlito-fonts on CentOS 8

on CentOS 8.
What is google-crosextra-carlito-fonts
Carlito is metric-compatible with Calibri font. Carlito comes in regular, bold, italic, and bold italic. The family covers Latin-Greek-Cyrillic (not a complete set, though) with about 2,000 glyphs. It has the same character coverage as Calibri. This font is sans-serif typeface family based on Lato.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install google-crosextra-carlito-fonts
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install google-crosextra-carlito-fonts.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
