How To Install glibc-devel on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install glibc-devel
on CentOS 8.
What is glibc-devel
The glibc-devel package contains the object files necessary for developing programs which use the standard C libraries (which are used by nearly all programs). If you are developing programs which will use the standard C libraries, your system needs to have these standard object files available in order to create the executables. or dnf
to install glibc-devel

Install glibc-devel on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install glibc-devel
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install glibc-devel
Install glibc-devel on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.

How To Uninstall glibc-devel on CentOS 8
