How To Install git2cl on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install git2cl on CentOS 8.
What is git2cl
A quick tool to convert git logs to GNU ChangeLog format. The tool invokes git log internally unless you pipe a log to it.
We can use yum or dnf to install git2cl on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install git2cl.
Install git2cl on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install git2cl using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install git2cl
Install git2cl on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall git2cl on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the git2cl package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove git2cl

/usr/share/doc/git2cl/COPYING
/usr/share/doc/git2cl/README
