How To Install geoclue2-libs on CentOS 8

on CentOS 8.
What is geoclue2-libs
The geoclue2-libs package contains a convenience library to interact with Geoclue service. geoclue2-libs 2.5.5 2.el8 x86_64 52 k geoclue2-2.5.5-2.el8.src.rpm appstream Geoclue client library http LGPLv2+ The geoclue2-libs package contains a convenience library to interact with Geoclue service.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install geoclue2-libs
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install geoclue2-libs.
Install geoclue2-libs on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install geoclue2-libs
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install geoclue2-libs

How To Uninstall geoclue2-libs on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the geoclue2-libs
