How To Install geany-plugins-debugger on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install geany-plugins-debugger
on CentOS 8.
What is geany-plugins-debugger
Plugin enables debugging in Geany. Currently supports GDB only, but was developed with multiple debuggers support in mind, so the other backends support is planned as well.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install geany-plugins-debugger
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install geany-plugins-debugger.
Install geany-plugins-debugger on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install geany-plugins-debugger
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install geany-plugins-debugger

How To Uninstall geany-plugins-debugger on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the geany-plugins-debugger
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove geany-plugins-debugger
