What is gcc-toolset-9-elfutils-libelf
The elfutils-libelf package provides a DSO which allows reading and writing ELF files on a high level. Third party programs depend on this package to read internals of ELF files. The programs of the elfutils package use it also to generate new ELF files.
We can use yum or dnf to install gcc-toolset-9-elfutils-libelf on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gcc-toolset-9-elfutils-libelf.
Install gcc-toolset-9-elfutils-libelf on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
