What is fontawesome-fonts
Font Awesome gives you scalable vector icons that can instantly be customized \u2014 size, color, drop shadow, and anything that can be done with the power of CSS. This package contains OpenType and TrueType font files which are typically used locally.
We can use yum or dnf to install fontawesome-fonts on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install fontawesome-fonts.
Install fontawesome-fonts on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install fontawesome-fonts using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install fontawesome-fonts

How To Uninstall fontawesome-fonts on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the fontawesome-fonts package we can use the following command:
