How To Install fluidsynth-libs on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install fluidsynth-libs
on CentOS 8.
What is fluidsynth-libs
FluidSynth is a real-time software synthesizer based on the SoundFont 2 specifications. It is a “software synthesizer”. This package holds the run-time shared libraries.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install fluidsynth-libs
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install fluidsynth-libs.
Install fluidsynth-libs on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install fluidsynth-libs
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install fluidsynth-libs

How To Uninstall fluidsynth-libs on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the fluidsynth-libs
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove fluidsynth-libs
