zchunk is a compressed file format that splits the file into independent chunks. This package contains zstd libraries tailored for Fedora’s repository metadata to improve their compression.
We can use yum or dnf to install fedora-repo-zdicts on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install fedora-repo-zdicts.
Install fedora-repo-zdicts on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
