evolution-pst is PST importer plugin for Evolution

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install evolution-pst on CentOS 8.

What is evolution-pst

This package contains the plugin to import Microsoft Personal Storage Table (PST) files used by Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange.

We can use yum or dnf to install evolution-pst on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install evolution-pst.

Install evolution-pst on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install evolution-pst using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install evolution-pst

How To Uninstall evolution-pst on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the evolution-pst package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove evolution-pst
