What is edg-mkgridmap
edg-mkgridmap is a tool to build the grid map-file from VO servers, taking into account both VO and local policies.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install edg-mkgridmap
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install edg-mkgridmap.
Install edg-mkgridmap on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install edg-mkgridmap
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install edg-mkgridmap

How To Uninstall edg-mkgridmap on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the edg-mkgridmap
