How To Install dhtest on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install dhtest
on CentOS 8.
What is dhtest
It can simulate multiple DHCP clients behind a network device. It can help in testing the DHCP servers or in testing switch/router by loading the device with multiple DHCP clients.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install dhtest
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install dhtest.
Install dhtest on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install dhtest
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install dhtest
Install dhtest on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall dhtest on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the dhtest
