on CentOS 8.
What is debugbreak-devel
debugbreak.h allows you to put breakpoints in your C/C++ code with a call to debug_break(). \u2022 Include one header file and insert calls to debug_break() in the code where you wish to break into the debugger. \u2022 Supports GCC, Clang and MSVC. \u2022 Works well on ARM, AArch64, i686, x86-64, POWER and has a fallback code path for other architectures. \u2022 Works like the DebugBreak() function provided by Windows and QNX.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install debugbreak-devel
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install debugbreak-devel.
Install debugbreak-devel on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install debugbreak-devel
using dnf
by running the following command:
