What is davix-libs

Libraries for davix. Davix is a toolkit designed for file operations with Http based protocols (WebDav, Amazon S3, …).

We can use yum or dnf to install davix-libs on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install davix-libs.

Install davix-libs on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install davix-libs using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install davix-libs

How To Uninstall davix-libs on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the davix-libs package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove davix-libs
