How To Install davfs2 on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install davfs2 on CentOS 8.

What is davfs2

davfs2 is a Linux file system driver that allows you to mount a WebDAV server as a disk drive.

We can use yum or dnf to install davfs2 on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install davfs2.

Install davfs2 on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install davfs2 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install davfs2

How To Uninstall davfs2 on CentOS 8
