How To Install ctpl on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install ctpl
on CentOS 8.
What is ctpl
CTPL is a template library written in C. It allows fast and easy parsing of templates from many sources (including in-memory data and local and remote streaming, thanks to GIO) and fine control over template parsing environment. CTPL has following features * It is a library, then it can be easily used from programs * Separated lexer and parser * It is written in portable C * Simple syntax * Fast and strict parsing * Possible in-memory parsing, allowing non-file data parsing and avoiding I/O-latency, through GIO’s GMemoryInputStream and GMemoryOutputStream
We can use yum
or dnf
to install ctpl
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ctpl.
Install ctpl on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install ctpl
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install ctpl
Install ctpl on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.

How To Uninstall ctpl on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the ctpl
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove ctpl

/usr/bin/ctpl
/usr/lib/.build-id
/usr/lib/.build-id/24
/usr/lib/.build-id/24/6950eede9e7f7ed691dd53a0d19178842689c6
