How To Install cros-sudo-config on CentOS 8

cros-sudo-config is sudo config for Chromium OS integration.

In this tutorial we learn how to install cros-sudo-config on CentOS 8.

What is cros-sudo-config

sudo config for Chromium OS integration. This package installs default configuration for sudo to allow passwordless sudo access for the sudo group, and passwordless pkexec for the sudo group.

We can use yum or dnf to install cros-sudo-config on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install cros-sudo-config.

Install cros-sudo-config on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall cros-sudo-config on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the cros-sudo-config package we can use the following command:
