How To Install cpaste on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install cpaste
on CentOS 8.
What is cpaste
Command line tool to upload things to the CentOS Project’s pastebin service located at https piped in via standard input. Permits the user to specify title; authors name; expiry time; language/format and mark the paste as private. May also be used for any other stikked-based pastebin service.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install cpaste
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install cpaste.
Install cpaste on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install cpaste
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install cpaste
Install cpaste on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall cpaste on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the cpaste
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove cpaste
