How To Install cmake-filesystem on CentOS 8

What is cmake-filesystem
This package owns all directories used by CMake modules. cmake-filesystem 3.18.2 11.el8_4 x86_64 44 k cmake-3.18.2-11.el8_4.src.rpm appstream Directories used by CMake modules http BSD and MIT and zlib This package owns all directories used by CMake modules.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install cmake-filesystem
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install cmake-filesystem.
Install cmake-filesystem on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install cmake-filesystem
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install cmake-filesystem
