What is bpg-elite-fonts

BPG Fonts are a set of GPL licensed Georgian Unicode fonts. This package contains the Elite font family.

We can use yum or dnf to install bpg-elite-fonts on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install bpg-elite-fonts.

Install bpg-elite-fonts on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install bpg-elite-fonts using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install bpg-elite-fonts

How To Uninstall bpg-elite-fonts on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the bpg-elite-fonts package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove bpg-elite-fonts
