How To Install boost-nowide on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install boost-nowide on CentOS 8.
What is boost-nowide
Boost.Nowide is a library implemented by Artyom Beilis that makes cross platform Unicode aware programming easier. The library provides an implementation of standard C and C++ library functions, such that their inputs are UTF-8 aware on Windows without requiring to use Wide API.
We can use yum or dnf to install boost-nowide on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install boost-nowide.
Install boost-nowide on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install boost-nowide using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install boost-nowide
Install boost-nowide on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall boost-nowide on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the boost-nowide package we can use the following command:
