autojump is a faster way to navigate your filesystem. It works by maintaining a database of the directories you use the most from the command line. autojump-fish is designed to work with fish shell.
We can use yum or dnf to install autojump-fish on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install autojump-fish.
Install autojump-fish on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install autojump-fish using dnf by running the following command:
