This plugin converts the ALSA API over OSS API. With this plugin, ALSA native apps can run on OSS drivers. Install alsa-plugins-oss on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install alsa-plugins-oss using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install alsa-plugins-oss

Install alsa-plugins-oss on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall alsa-plugins-oss on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the alsa-plugins-oss package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove alsa-plugins-oss
