What is targetd.noarch
targetd turns the machine into a remotely-configurable storage appliance. It supports an HTTP/jsonrpc-2.0 interface to let a remote administrator allocate volumes from an LVM volume group, and export those volumes over iSCSI.
We can use yum
to install targetd.noarch

Install targetd.noarch on Amazon Linux 2 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install targetd.noarch
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install targetd.noarch
How To Uninstall targetd.noarch on Amazon Linux 2
To uninstall only the targetd.noarch
package we can use the following command:
sudo yum remove targetd.noarch
