How To Install LibRaw.x86_64 on Amazon Linux 2

on Amazon Linux 2.
What is LibRaw.x86_64
LibRaw is a library for reading RAW files obtained from digital photo cameras (CRW/CR2, NEF, RAF, DNG, and others). LibRaw is based on the source codes of the dcraw utility, where part of drawbacks have already been eliminated and part will be fixed in future.
We can use yum
to install LibRaw.x86_64
on Amazon Linux 2. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install LibRaw.x86_64.
Install LibRaw.x86_64 on Amazon Linux 2 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install LibRaw.x86_64
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install LibRaw.x86_64
How To Uninstall LibRaw.x86_64 on Amazon Linux 2
To uninstall only the LibRaw.x86_64
package we can use the following command:
sudo yum remove LibRaw.x86_64
