GNU Libidn is an implementation of the Stringprep, Punycode and IDNA specifications defined by the IETF Internationalized Domain Names (IDN) working group, used for internationalized domain names.

Install libidn.x86_64 on Amazon Linux 2 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install libidn.x86_64 using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install libidn.x86_64

How To Uninstall libidn.x86_64 on Amazon Linux 2

To uninstall only the libidn.x86_64 package we can use the following command:

sudo yum remove libidn.x86_64
