What is avahi-autoipd.x86_64
avahi-autoipd implements IPv4LL, “Dynamic Configuration of IPv4 Link-Local Addresses” (IETF RFC3927), a protocol for automatic IP address configuration from the link-local 169.254.0.0/16 range without the need for a central server. It is primarily intended to be used in ad-hoc networks which lack a DHCP server.

to install avahi-autoipd.x86_64

Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install avahi-autoipd.x86_64
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install avahi-autoipd.x86_64
How To Uninstall avahi-autoipd.x86_64 on Amazon Linux 2
To uninstall only the avahi-autoipd.x86_64
package we can use the following command:
sudo yum remove avahi-autoipd.x86_64
