How To Install zimwriterfs on Ubuntu 20.04

What is zimwriterfs
zimwriterfs is:
zimwriterfs is a console tool to create ZIM files from a locally-stored directory containing “self-sufficient” HTML content (with pictures, javascript, and stylesheets). The result will contain all the files of the local directory compressed and merged in the ZIM file. Nothing more, nothing less. The generated file can be opened with a ZIM reader; Kiwix is one example, but there are others.
There are three methods to install zimwriterfs on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install zimwriterfs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude -y install zimwriterfs
How To Uninstall zimwriterfs on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the zimwriterfs package we can use the following command:

To uninstall zimwriterfs and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove zimwriterfs

To remove zimwriterfs configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge zimwriterfs
