How To Install zfs-dracut on Kali Linux

What is zfs-dracut
zfs-dracut is:
OpenZFS is a storage platform that encompasses the functionality of traditional filesystems and volume managers. It supports data checksums, compression, encryption, snapshots, and more.
This package adds OpenZFS to the system initramfs with a hook for the dracut infrastructure.
There are three methods to install zfs-dracut on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install zfs-dracut Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zfs-dracut using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install zfs-dracutInstall zfs-dracut Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zfs-dracut using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install zfs-dracutInstall zfs-dracut Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install zfs-dracut using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the zfs-dracut package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove zfs-dracutRemove zfs-dracut Configurations and Data
To remove zfs-dracut configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge zfs-dracutRemove zfs-dracut configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
