Zenmap is an Nmap frontend. It is meant to be useful for advanced users and to make Nmap easy to use by beginners. It was originally derived from Umit, an Nmap GUI created as part of the Google Summer of Code.

There are three methods to install zenmap on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install zenmap Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install zenmap using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install zenmap

Install zenmap Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install zenmap using apt by running the following command:
