What is yotta-doc

yotta-doc is:

yotta is a build tool to make it easier to build better C/C++ software by re-using modules. Modules can be published to the yotta registry to share with other people, or can be re-used privately in your own projects.

Whenever a project is built with yotta, a yotta build target is selected. Targets describe the platform that you’re building for (such as an embedded IoT development board, or natively for Linux), and provide all the information that yotta and the modules you’re using need to configure themselves correctly for that platform.

There are three methods to install yotta-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install yotta-doc Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install yotta-doc using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install yotta-doc

Install yotta-doc Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install yotta-doc using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install yotta-doc

Install yotta-doc Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install yotta-doc using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install yotta-doc

How To Uninstall yotta-doc on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the yotta-doc package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove yotta-doc

Uninstall yotta-doc And Its Dependencies

To uninstall yotta-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove yotta-doc

Remove yotta-doc Configurations and Data

To remove yotta-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge yotta-doc

Remove yotta-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove yotta-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge yotta-doc
