How To Install yhsm-daemon on Debian 10

on Debian 10.
What is yhsm-daemon
yhsm-daemon is:
Provides a TCP based server allowing multiple processes to use a single YubiHSM in parallel.
To utilize the YubiHSM via the server instead of using it directly, pass yhsm://localhost:5348 as the device to python-pyhsm.
There are three methods to install yhsm-daemon
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install yhsm-daemon Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install yhsm-daemon
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install yhsm-daemon

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install yhsm-daemon
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install yhsm-daemon

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
