In this tutorial we learn how to install wys on Kali Linux.

What is wys

wys is:

During a phone call, audio must be streamed from one ALSA device to another ALSA device. This should only happen during the call, when the modem’s audio interfaces will actually be active. To facilitate this, Wys will wait for ModemManager calls in the ringing or active state and enable appropriate PulseAudio loopback modules only during those states.

There are three methods to install wys on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install wys Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install wys using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install wys
