The Virtual Organization Membership Service (VOMS) is an attribute authority which serves as central repository for VO user authorization information, providing support for sorting users into group hierarchies, keeping track of their roles and other attributes in order to issue trusted attribute certificates and SAML assertions used in the Grid environment for authorization purposes. This package offers the MySQL implementation for the VOMS server.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install voms-mysql-plugin

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install voms-mysql-plugin
using dnf

sudo dnf -y install voms-mysql-plugin

Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install voms-mysql-plugin
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install voms-mysql-plugin
How To Uninstall voms-mysql-plugin on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the voms-mysql-plugin
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove voms-mysql-plugin
