How To Install virtaal on Ubuntu 18.04

Virtaal is a graphical localisation editor that is designed to offer the translator an uncluttered interface for translating text. Virtaal supports a wide variety of common formats including PO and XLIFF files (and everything else that the translate-toolkit package supports).
There are three methods to install virtaal
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install virtaal Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install virtaal
using apt-get

Install virtaal Using aptitude

How To Uninstall virtaal on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the virtaal
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove virtaal
Uninstall virtaal And Its Dependencies
To uninstall virtaal
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove virtaal
Remove virtaal Configurations and Data
To remove virtaal
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge virtaal
