How To Install vibe.d on Ubuntu 18.04

on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is vibe.d
vibe.d is:
vibe.d is a high-performance asynchronous I/O, concurrency and web application toolkit written in D. It already contains many supplemental features such as database support to be able to offer a complete development environment.
This package is a metapackage pulling in all vibe.d modules and their development files.
There are three methods to install vibe.d
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install vibe.d Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install vibe.d
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install vibe.d

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install vibe.d
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install vibe.d
Install vibe.d Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install vibe.d

How To Uninstall vibe.d on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the vibe.d
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove vibe.d
Uninstall vibe.d And Its Dependencies
To uninstall vibe.d
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove vibe.d
Remove vibe.d Configurations and Data
To remove vibe.d
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge vibe.d
Remove vibe.d configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove vibe.d
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge vibe.d
