How To Install tack-dbg on Debian 9

The ’tack’ program is a diagnostic tool that is designed to create and verify the correctness of terminfo’s. This program can be used to create new terminal descriptions that are not included in the standard ncurses release.

There are three methods to install tack-dbg on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tack-dbg Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install tack-dbg using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install tack-dbg

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install tack-dbg using apt by running the following command:

Install tack-dbg Using aptitude
