How To Install synopsis-idl on Ubuntu 18.04

synopsis-idl is:
Synopsis is a multi-language source code introspection tool that provides a variety of representations for the parsed code to enable further processing such as documentation extraction, reverse engineering, and source-to-source translation.
Synopsis provides a framework of C++ and Python APIs to access these representations and allows Processor objects to be defined and composed into processing pipelines, making this framework very flexible and extensible.
This package contains the IDL parser.
There are three methods to install synopsis-idl on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install synopsis-idl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install synopsis-idl using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install synopsis-idl

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install synopsis-idl using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install synopsis-idl
Install synopsis-idl Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install synopsis-idl using aptitude by running the following command:
