How To Install solr-common on Debian 9

What is solr-common
solr-common is:
Solr is an open source enterprise search server based on the Lucene Java search library, with XML/HTTP and JSON APIs, hit highlighting, faceted search, caching, replication, and a web administration interface. It runs in a Java servlet container such as Tomcat.
This package provides the common files for Solr. Install solr-tomcat or solr-jetty to use Solr under Tomcat or Jetty.
This package also contains the dataimporthandler contrib while omiting dataimporthandler-extras, clustering, extraction and velocity due to missing dependencies.
libmysql-java is necessary to connect the dataimporthandler to MySQL.
There are three methods to install solr-common on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install solr-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install solr-common using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install solr-common

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install solr-common using apt by running the following command:

How To Uninstall solr-common on Debian 9
To uninstall only the solr-common package we can use the following command:
