How To Install ruby-hmac on Kali Linux

This module provides common interface to HMAC functionality. HMAC is a kind of “Message Authentication Code” (MAC) algorithm whose standard is documented in RFC2104. sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-hmac
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install ruby-hmac

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-hmac
using aptitude

How To Uninstall ruby-hmac on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ruby-hmac
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-hmac
Uninstall ruby-hmac And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-hmac
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-hmac
