How To Install ruby-fastimage on Ubuntu 18.04

What is ruby-fastimage
ruby-fastimage is:
FastImage does this minimal fetch for image types GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP and PSD.
And it doesn’t rely on installing external libraries such as RMagick (which relies on ImageMagick or GraphicsMagick) or ImageScience (which relies on FreeImage).
You only need supply the uri, and FastImage will do the rest.

How To Uninstall ruby-fastimage on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the ruby-fastimage
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-fastimage

To uninstall ruby-fastimage
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-fastimage
Remove ruby-fastimage Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-fastimage
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-fastimage
