How To Install qt4-default on Debian 9

What is qt4-default
qt4-default is:
Qt is a cross-platform C++ application framework. Qt’s primary feature is its rich set of widgets that provide standard GUI functionality.
This package sets Qt 4 to be the default Qt version to be used when using development binaries like qmake. It provides a default configuration for qtchooser, but does not prevent alternative Qt installations from being used.

There are three methods to install qt4-default on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qt4-default Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install qt4-default using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall qt4-default on Debian 9
To uninstall only the qt4-default package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove qt4-default

To uninstall qt4-default and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove qt4-default
Remove qt4-default Configurations and Data
To remove qt4-default configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge qt4-default
