python3-hgapi works for all versions of Mercurial, and will instantly reflect any changes to the repository (including hgrc).

There are three methods to install python3-hgapi on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
