What is python3-dbf
python3-dbf is:
A pure Python 3 module for reading and writing dBase III, FoxPro, and Visual FoxPro 6 .dbf files (including memos). Text is returned as unicode, and codepage settings in tables are honored.
Currently not supported: index files, null fields, auto-incrementing fields.
This package installs the library for Python 3.
There are three methods to install python3-dbf on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-dbf Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-dbf using apt-get by running the following command:
