xhtml2pdf is a html2pdf converter using the ReportLab Toolkit, the HTML5lib and pyPdf. It supports HTML 5 and CSS 2.1 (and some of CSS 3). It is completely written in pure Python so it is platform independent.

xhtml2pdf was previously developed as “pisa”.
This package installs the library for Python 2.
There are three methods to install python-xhtml2pdf on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-xhtml2pdf using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install python-xhtml2pdf using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-xhtml2pdf using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-xhtml2pdf
How To Uninstall python-xhtml2pdf on Debian 10
To uninstall only the python-xhtml2pdf package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-xhtml2pdf
Uninstall python-xhtml2pdf And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-xhtml2pdf and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-xhtml2pdf
