How To Install python-pyxid on Debian 9

pyxid is a Python library for interfacing with Cedrus XID (eXperiment Interface Device) and StimTracker devices. XID devices are used in software such as SuperLab, Presentation, and ePrime for receiving input as part of stimulus/response testing experiments.
pyxid handles all of the low level device handling for XID devices in Python projects.
There are three methods to install python-pyxid on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-pyxid Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pyxid using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-pyxid

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
