python-pypdf2 is:
A Pure-Python library built as a PDF toolkit. It is capable of:

- encrypting and decrypting PDF files.
By being Pure-Python, it should run on any Python platform without any dependencies on external libraries. It can also work entirely on StringIO objects rather than file streams, allowing for PDF manipulation in memory. It is therefore a useful tool for websites that manage or manipulate PDFs.
This is the Python 2 version of the package.
There are three methods to install python-pypdf2 on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-pypdf2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pypdf2 using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall python-pypdf2 on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python-pypdf2 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-pypdf2
Uninstall python-pypdf2 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-pypdf2 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-pypdf2
Remove python-pypdf2 Configurations and Data
To remove python-pypdf2 configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
