How To Install python-ptk on Debian 9

What is python-ptk
python-ptk is:
PTK implements LR(1) parsing in Python. Compared to compiled tools like Bison, it attempts to spare programmer’s time. Python sources describe both the grammar and the callbacks, avoiding code generation. Various inputs are accepted: Python 3 asynchronous streams, PyZipFile archives, Twisted Deferred objects.
This package installs the library for Python 2.

on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install python-ptk
using apt-get

How To Uninstall python-ptk on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python-ptk
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-ptk

To uninstall python-ptk
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-ptk
Remove python-ptk Configurations and Data
To remove python-ptk
configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-ptk
