How To Install python-pex on Debian 9

What is python-pex
python-pex is:
pex is a library for generating .pex (Python EXecutable) files which are executable Python environments in the spirit of virtualenvs. pex is an expansion upon the ideas outlined in PEP 441 and makes the deployment of Python applications as simple as cp. pex files may even include multiple platform-specific Python distributions, meaning that a single pex file can be portable across Linux and OS X.
pex files can be built using the pex tool. Build systems such as Pants and Buck also support building .pex files directly.
This is the Python 2 library version.
There are three methods to install python-pex
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

How To Uninstall python-pex on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python-pex
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-pex
Uninstall python-pex And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-pex
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-pex
Remove python-pex Configurations and Data
To remove python-pex
configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-pex
