What is python-openctm
python-openctm is:
OpenCTM ?? the Open Compressed Triangle Mesh file format ?? is a file format, a software library and a tool set for compression of 3D triangle meshes. The geometry is compressed to a fraction of comparable file formats, and the format is easily accessible through a simple, portable API.
This package contains Python binding for OpenCTM library.
There are three methods to install python-openctm on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-openctm Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-openctm using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install python-openctm using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-openctm
How To Uninstall python-openctm on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python-openctm package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-openctm
Uninstall python-openctm And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-openctm and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-openctm
Remove python-openctm Configurations and Data
To remove python-openctm configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-openctm
